About Christina

Where it all began

Knowing from a very young age that music was special to her, Christina decided to dedicate her life to studying, teaching and sharing it. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, one of the top music conservatories in the world, she travelled throughout Europe singing and learning her craft. She then brought all of those colorful experiences back to her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, and founded the Accelerando Music Conservatory. It was there that she discovered Billboard’s platinum selling pop star, Daya.

“I remember all of my classmates would have afterschool and weekend plans and I would have piano and voice lessons… but I never felt like I was missing out. My grandparents came to America from Italy so there was never a shortage of Italian folk songs, we also listened to the Beatles, Elton John, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Frank Sinatra. I believe growing up on these amazing artists influenced my vocal style as well as my ability to help young artists create their own unique brands.”
